Testing Your Device
When testing your device, remember no one will be on the other end of the camera, however, Zoom is making sure your camera, microphone, and speaker is working properly.
At your appointment time
When you receive your 5 minute prior to appointment time notification via text and/or email, click the join meeting button, this will open your Zoom meeting already scheduled. Your screen will remain black until the Provider joins. Your Provider may be running late due to other patients ahead of you so please be patient. Nothing is wrong with your device if you have already tested it successfully. If you have not connected with your Provider 10 minutes after your appointment time, please call 858-227-0887 to find the status of your Provider and appointment.
Sound
If you do not hear anything, make sure you click the headphone icon in the app in the lower left hand side. This may prompt a pop-up box with words, click on it and the audio portion will work.
Camera
If your provider has joined the meeting and you cannot see them, make sure you click on the video camera icon on the menu, which should be red with line thru it, to enable your camera. This should have been done during the testing of your device.
